Features · SATORI Synthesizer
The parts the front page leaves out, in signal order from the oscillators to the output. Read it through, or use it to check the specs.

All three VCOs share the same layout: SAW, TRI, PLS and S+P, plus a supersaw hiding behind a second press of SAW+. Pulse width, ±100 cents of tune, six octave positions. Underneath, a sub oscillator and a noise source with adjustable grain.

LP24, LP12, HP and BP, plus VOWEL, a twin-formant filter. Cutoff becomes a vowel selector that morphs continuously from A to E to I to O to U; add the envelope and every note talks. In the middle sits the big CHARACTER knob, running from MODERN to VINTAGE: filter colour and analog drift move together, on one control.
The voice row holds the POLY, MONO, UNISON and P-UNI modes, glide, velocity, aftertouch and tempo. To its right, the arpeggiator: seven patterns (Up, Down, U>D, D>U, Rand, Order, O>I), fourteen rates including triplets and dotted values, one to four octaves. Press EDIT for a 32-step grid: draw velocities as bars, tie steps together, and mark chord steps that play every held note at once.

Each layer runs EQ → OD → DIST → CHORUS → VINYL → DELAY → REVERB in series, and that is the order below. Drag the tabs left or right and the chain follows: the order of the tabs is the order of the signal. Frequencies read in Hz, times in ms and seconds.
Swipe the strips sideways; each one starts at the tab being described

EQLow and high cut plus three bands, with preset centre frequencies so you never hunt for them.

ODBLUE drives only the mids: a creamy, nostalgic overdrive. RED is the sound of pushing the mic preamp of a British console, saturating the highs into a bright, glittering distortion.

DISTA RAT-style distortion. FILTER sets how bright it gets.

CHORUSChorus, Vibrato and Phaser in one slot. RATE reads in Hz, WIDTH sets the stereo spread.

VINYLCRUSH ages the record, WARMTH rounds off the top. WOW is the wide pitch sway of an off-centre disc, with RATE for its speed. FLUTTER adds tape-like fine wobble and level ripple. NOISE is the surface hiss.

DELAYAnalog, Digital, Tape and Diffuse. Note sync, ping-pong, modulation, and DUCK to hold the wet signal down while you play.

REVERBHall, Room, Plate, Chamber, Spring and Shimmer, on the SORA engine. Decay up to 35 seconds. Shimmer regenerates the tail while it shifts by octaves.
The MASTER tab at the far right holds a second set of the same seven, applied after the four layers are summed (next section).
Layers A to D. Each one is a complete synth, from oscillators to reverb. The LAYERS panel is four channel strips: ON and SOLO, level, pan, stereo width, and the order of the effects, all in one view. MASTER, on the right, is where the four layers are summed.

Eleven banks: Pad, Keys, Bass, Lead, Brass, Strings, Arp, Drums, FX, Texture and Template. Pick a bank on the left, type to filter, Enter to load. The pane on the right shows the description and tags of each sound.

Verified in these DAWs: insert, play, tempo follow, project save and reopen, bypass (September 2026).

The download is the demo. For seven days from the first launch it is the full instrument, preset saving included. When the trial ends the sound stops, but your DAW projects still save and reload. Paste your serial, press REGISTER, and it becomes the full version on the spot, with your number engraved at the top right of the panel where DEMO used to be.
Want to try it first? The same SATORI runs free for 7 days.
